Healthcare Science Open Day
Saturday 4th October 2014
On Saturday 4th October we are holding a Healthcare Science Open Day at Southampton General Hospital. This is an excellent opportunity for any college or sixth form students considering our BSc (Hons) Healthcare Science programme to find out more about this degree, view our excellent teaching facilities, tour the Cardiac department as well as talk to current students, staff and practising clinicians about a career in this area.
Further information about this degree and the Open Day are included below and I would be grateful if you could forward this information to any of your students who you feel would be interested. I also attach a flyer, which you may like to display in relevant student areas.
Our degree in Healthcare Science focuses on learning to use state-of-the-art technology to diagnose disorders of the cardiovascular and respiratory systems, and to improve the health of patients. During this 3 year degree, you can choose to specialise in Cardiac Physiology or Respiratory and Sleep Physiology. For further information about this degree, visit our webpage.
