King’s College London Pre-University Summer School 2015 for IB students

King’s College London Pre-University Summer School

Are you an IB Diploma student considering attending an international university? Perhaps you are looking to experience university life at a UK university or to extend your academic knowledge? Are you looking to expand your horizons and connect with like-minded students from across the globe?

The King’s College London Pre-University Summer School each year welcomes IB students from around the world to experience undergraduate student life, in the very heart of London, at one of the world’s top 20 universities (QS World University Rankings 2014/15).

In 2014 over 25% of our students came from IB World Schools and therefore we hope this programme may be of interest to you as an IB student.

In 2015 the Pre-University Summer School will take place from Sunday 26th July to Saturday 8th August (inclusive). Students can study one of five carefully designed courses led and taught by King’s Summer Programmes faculty: Global Health, Global Politics, International Law, International Management or World History and Cultures. Each academically rigorous course is delivered over the two week programme through a series of lectures, seminars and academic excursions. Each course has a minimum of 40 hours class contact, with coursework and assessment to help measure students’ performance in the course. Upon completion each student is awarded a certificate.

78% of students from the 2014 programme said they would highly recommend the benefits of the Pre-University Summer School. To read more about their experiences and how the programme benefitted them, please click on the link below:

Thank you for your time and we look forward to hopefully hearing from you.

Best wishes
