Each year Goldman Sachs run our A-Level Girls Inspire Programme: Investing in Women of the Future. This year we will be holding programmes on both Monday 16 and Friday 20 February and we would be delighted to invite your final year female students to apply.
Programme Context
This programme is for final year A-level/International Baccalaureate girls and will provide an insight into the world of financial services. By spending the day at our London office, students will be able to meet with industry professionals and develop skills to aid their transition from school to university. The programme will include a combination of presentations, interactive business games and skills sessions to assist them in preparing for both university and future employment. Students require no prior knowledge of the industry but should have an interest in finding out more about the career opportunities available to them in our various divisions. We particularly want to help attendees understand that the breadth of careers at Goldman Sachs cover a range of non-finance areas such as Legal, Compliance, Operations, Technology, HR and Services, in addition to those such as Investment Banking, Investment Management and Securities. We therefore encourage applications from students who are planning to study a wide range of degree disciplines, not just Economics, Business and Finance related subjects.
Applications
Applications are submitted directly through our website, and we will confirm who has secured a place following the application deadline of 2 February 2015. The application requires students to provide a CV and write a short statement as to why they are interested in attending. We reiterate that they need not have any prior knowledge of our industry in order to apply, and that this is an ideal opportunity for them to find out more during a fun and interactive day. Travel expenses will be covered for those travelling from outside of the M25. When students receive confirmation of their attendance this will allow them to select their preference of date, week commencing 9 February.
