Molecular and Applied Bioscience, Biochemistry, Biotechnology and Pharmacology Taster Sessions at the University of Westminster

WestminsterMolecular and Applied Bioscience, Biochemistry, Biotechnology and Pharmacology Taster Sessions

At this taster session we will show how laboratory-based teaching can be illuminated by research with hands on experiments. Students will have the chance to study some simple biochemical and chemical processes such as how an essential human enzyme works for removing dangerous chemicals, linked to cellular ageing and neurodegeneration and learn how much bacterially produced and naturally occurring polymers are better for us than their chemically produced counterparts.
