MOOC in Understanding Drugs and Addiction from King’s College London

Greetings from King’s College London!

Following the success of its first year, the Institute of Psychiatry, Psychology & Neuroscience (IoPPN) are delighted to announce that they are repeating the MOOC (massive open online course)Understanding Drugs and Addiction.

This free online course is an excellent opportunity for anyone with an interest in brain sciences to explore how addiction develops, looking at the environmental, genetic and personal risks involved. As the course requires no specialist knowledge or previous experience, we thought it might be of interest to students who are considering the field of psychiatry, psychology and neuroscience at university. Participating in the course will provide a great opportunity for students to demonstrate their interest in the broader subject area which will also be very useful when students come to write their personal statements.

The 6 week course has just started but there is still plenty of time to catch up!

Best wishes,
