TheatreCraft Returns For 10th Event
For 16 to 25-year-olds looking for a non-performance career in theatre
Taking place on 20th November at the Royal Opera House, London, TheatreCraft 2015 offers 16 to 25 year-olds looking for a non-performance career in theatre the chance to gain invaluable insights into many aspects of theatre, from direction and stage management to producing, marketing, lighting and design.
As well as having the chance to explore the marketplace of exhibiting theatres and organisations, attendees are also given the opportunity to participate in a range of workshops led by theatre professionals, seek one-to-one advice in the Ask The Experts zone and communicate with similar minded peers in networking hubs.
Organised by the Theatre Royal Haymarket Masterclass Trust, the Royal Opera House, Mousetrap Theatre Projects, Creative & Cultural Skills and the Society of London Theatre, last year’s free event saw more than 1,200 individuals take part in more than 70 workshops and engage with 55 theatres and organisations in the marketplace, making it the most successful TheatreCraft to date.
