Oxford Royale Academy is delighted to be offering a limited number of scholarships and bursaries for our upcoming 12 week Gap Year Research Projects.
These scholarships offer a unique opportunity for students aged 18 – 25 to study in Oxford for 3 months, working in small groups with our expert faculty.
Named for Thomas Garner, the leading architect who restored ORA’s International Study Centre at Yarnton Manor to its full glory in the late 19th century, these scholarships will be awarded on the basis of academic merit to deserving applicants from all over the world.

Applications must be completed by 12pm GMT on Friday 30th October 2015, decisions will be made by Monday 16th November 2015 and announced during that week.
WHO SHOULD APPLY?
Academically-minded, driven students from any country of the world are welcome to apply for a Thomas Garner Scholarship. Students should have an excellent academic record and a demonstrable passion for their chosen subject. They should also be able to explain how a Thomas Garner Scholarship will benefit their academic ambitions. Finally, students should be aged 18 to 25, and be eligible to live and study in the UK for 3 months.
Two start dates for the Gap Year Research Projects are available as follows:

While a standard Gap Year Research Project costs 18,995 GBP including all tuition, accommodation and meals, scholars can receive up to a 100% reduction in their course fees.
20 Scholarships will be awarded, as follows:
3 Full Scholarships offering 100% off the course fees

5 Half Scholarships offering 50% off the course fees

12 Quarter Scholarships offering 25% off the course fees
WHAT ARE THE GAP YEAR RESEARCH PROJECTS?
Our 12 week Gap Year Research Projects are fully residential programmes based in Oxford Royale’s historic International Study Centre. They combine a stimulating range of tutorials, lectures, guided research, excursions, cultural activities and more.
