The University of Toronto has been accepting applications since the beginning of October. The application is available at uoft.me/apply.
APPLICATION DEADLINE AND DOCUMENT SUBMISSIONS:
We strongly recommend that students submit their application as soon as possible and follow up with requested documents by mid-December in order to get the earliest decision for all Arts & Science choices.
Students have the option to upload an unofficial copy (one-doc format) of their documents for consideration through the U of T Join Portal but if your school is able to send them directly you do not need to do this.
ENGLISH LANGUAGE REQUIREMENTS:
If required, all English exams such as TOEFL/IELTS must come directly from the exam board. Students are also encouraged to familiarize themselves with our English Language Requirements.
If your first language is English or have been educated in English for a minimum of 4 years you will not need to provide this.
If you are studying English Literature or English Literature and Language on the IB and are predicted a minimum of 4 at either Higher Level or Standard Level this will satisfy the requirements.
English B at any level does not meet the requirements and you will need to sit either TOEFL or IELTS.
All applicants (both Canadian and international) are automatically considered for Academic Scholarships during the admission process. Successful candidates receive notification of the scholarship awarded with their offer of admission. Details about all awards may be found at uoft.me/awards.
The most exceptional international students may be eligible for one of the following two awards:
U OF T INTERNATIONAL SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM:
This is our most prestigious and competitive scholarship for non-Canadians. The award looks at excellent academics, community involvement and financial need. Candidates must be nominated by their Headmaster or Principal by February 5, 2016. If you are a St. Clare’s student who is interested in this please speak to Melanie Moorhouse.
U OF T ENGINEERING INTERNATIONAL SCHOLAR AWARD:
This award is for outstanding international Engineering applicants enrolled in secondary schools outside of Canada. Students self-nominate and submit the application as part of their admission process. Applicants are encouraged to apply for this award by February 6, 2016.
