Gap Year Opportunities with Year In Industry – 2016 Scheme applications now open

The Year in Industry (YINI) is the UK’s leading student placement expert, providing high-quality, paid placements for students before or during their degree course. For 2016/17, YINI has vacancies with 300 companies working in technology, science and engineering across the UK, ranging from leading FTSE 100 companies to small innovative start-ups.

They help post A-Level/IB and undergraduate students find the best UK work placements in all areas of engineering, science, IT, e-commerce, business, marketing, finance, logistics and more.

On a YINI placement you will have the opportunity to undertake interesting projects and learn how businesses work.

You’ll learn how to work effectively, helping you make the most of university and maximise your graduate job prospects.

You will receive full support from The Year In Industry through a year-long mentoring service at your company, including on-site visits from the YINI team, free management training* and a certified Maths Course from Loughborough university.

Around a quarter of all their students are sponsored through university each year and many of our 300 partner companies see The Year in Industry as an important part of their graduate recruitment programme.

YINI - Ben Isaacs at DaraYou must have the right to work in the Uk in order to undertake a YINI placement.
