Medical Work Experience in the Dominican Republic Summer 2017 – Apply Now

We have some very exciting news to share with you..!

Our short-term hospital shadowing internships in the Caribbean have been so popular that we are opening a whole new program for under 18s! From July 2017, students aged 16-17 can now join us for hospital shadowing and a community healthcare experience in the breathtaking Dominican Republic.

A placement in the Dominican Republic will allow you to have unrivalled access to a busy hospital and give you a unique chance to see exactly what your future career looks like. Not only that, you will also get the chance to take part in our inspirational community healthcare project which helps our partner charity hospital improve the medical resources available to the Haitian families living and working in the local area.

If you are looking for adventure that is really off the beaten track, then our new programme on Mafia Island, East Africa is for you. Just a short plane journey from the Tanzanian mainland – you’ll spend your days shadowing professionals in the island’s district hospital and out in the community; gaining valuable insight into how medical knowledge is applied in such a secluded location, with very limited resources. Oh, and did we mention you can go snorkelling through the coral reefs too??

We are now taking bookings for Dominican Republic and Mafia Island so to make sure you don’t miss out on the adventure of a life-time, get in touch and register your interest today!
