Thinking about a career in medicine? Get experience in India in Summer 2017 with Oyster

Oyster Worldwide which arranges work experience programmes overseas. We are currently looking for enthusiastic and dynamic pre- medical students, aged 16-18. to participate in a 2 week medical internship programme in Palampur, India.

This is the perfect opportunity for students, who are looking to put medical experience on their UCAS applications, to gain a valuable insight into the medical profession in India.

When?

We are looking for students to take part for 2 weeks, starting on the 22nd of July.

What’s it all about?

The interns will shadow fully qualified and professional doctors, receive medical lectures and experience life working in a number of different departments. On top of this, they will spend their weekends exploring some of the wonders of India, including the Taj Mahal. Interns will live in a house together, with a beautiful view of the Himalayan mountains. A fully trained UK leader will be with the group at all times.

How much does it cost?

We are currently offering internships for £1745.

 

This includes your airport transfers, internal flights, accommodation, 3 meals a day, training and a comprehensive internship programme, 2 evening lectures, weekend trips to the Taj Mahal, McLeodganj and Palampur tea gardens. Oyster Worldwide can book international flights. In addition to this, interns will need to purchase travel insurance and bring spending money.
