Summer Camps 2017 at Jacobs University, Germany

Jacobs is a private university in Bremen, Germany, that offers a liberal arts and sciences style curriculum. Their  Summer Camp 2017 program is taking place on the Jacobs University campus between July 23 and July 29, 2017. They would love to welcome any interested students onto their campus and give you a glimpse into what university life could be like on an international university campus.

The list of workshops offered is now available. The participants will be able to attend one of the following:

  1. Resources and their Sustainable Management
  2. Renewable Energy
  3. Physics in Popular Culture
  4. Sensor Networks
  5. Nanotechnology
  6. Living Under a Dictatorship
  7. Integration through Community Work

The application for the camp is available online and admission is based on a completed application form including:

  • A short motivation statement
  • A current academic transcript
  • A recommendation letter (optional)

The deadline for submitting the application is Wednesday, February 15, 2017.

The cost for the Summer Camp is 400 Euros and it includes room and board, excursions within the context of the camp, and participation in the workshop.
