World’s most International Universities 2017
Times Higher Education (THE) have published their 2017 ranking of the most international universities for 2017 looking at both the number of international staff and students each university has, as well as their international reputation score.
You will find the ranking at the end of this interesting article about what makes a university international, which countries are strongest in this aspect and commentary on what impact Trump and Brexit may have.
The Top 10 includes both ETH Zurich and École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne both in Switzerland, the University of Hong Kong, National University of Singapore and the Australian National University. In the UK Imperial College London is the highest ranked at number 5 and also making it to the top 10 are Oxford, Cambridge, LSE, UCL and King’s.
You can find many of the universities that our students frequently apply to in the top 30 including: UBC and McGill in Canada, (Toronto is #32) and Edinburgh, Warwick, Glasgow, Manchester, Durham, York and Bristol in the UK.
The highest rank USA institution is MIT at # 22 whilst for Australia New South Wales, Melbourne, Monash and Sydney all feature in the Top 30.
