Economics in Context Free Study Day
Monday 20 March 2017
This free study day considers some economic concepts which may appear contemporary but have actually been experienced across 4,000 years.
The day is open to KS5 (IB1 & 2) and undergraduate students studying, or wishing to study, Economics. Students will be encouraged to challenge their knowledge through topics such as inflation throughout history, lessons learnt from the fixed exchange rate in the Roman Empire and financial crises through the ages.
Handling of objects from the collection will be available during the lunch break and the study day will close with career passion pitches by various people who studied Economics.
Supported by Citi as part of the Citi Money Gallery education programme. Part of Global Money Week.
