Easter Futurewise Career Insight Events

Careers with Chemistry and Biology, Wednesday 5 April, Imperial College London

Students will have the chance to be involved with hands on group lab activities which include conducting experiments in immunology and biomedical science.

Careers in Law, Thursday 6th April, The University of Law, London

Students will take part in a mock trial lead by Barrister Christopher Loxton, 4 KBW and network with legal professionals working at Three Stone Chambers, Penningtons and Law Careers Net.

TV & Film Career insight, Friday 7th April, The National Film and Television School, Beaconsfield

Keynote speaker Christine Alsford, Social Affairs Correspondent from ITV News will give an insight into how to succeed in this competitive industry. Students will have an opportunity to network with professionals from Remedy Productions Ltd, Creative Skillset, NFTS, Idle Films and Arrow Media.

Careers with Psychology, Tuesday 11th April, British Psychological Society, London

Students will learn about the different areas of psychology and hear from a Lecturer & UCAS Admissions Officer in Psychology. In the afternoon, students will take part in a fascinating group activity highlighting the psychological and social elements of effective team working.

Marketing & PR Career insight, Wednesday 12th April, Weber Shandwick PR Agency, London

Through a combination of keynote talks and networking with professionals, students will learn more about this competitive industry and see which area might suit them. Students will take part in a ‘Building a Campaign’ interactive activity run by Weber Shandwick.

Careers with English and Media, Thursday 13th April, Professional Publishers Association, London

This event is for students who enjoy studying English and/or Media and want to learn about the real career opportunities available if they pursue these subjects at university.

Each event costs £90 for non-futurewise members and £65 for members.  If you are a St. Clare’s student please see Melanie Moorhouse for the username and password to pay the lower members price.
