Times Higher Education World University Rankings have publish the 2017 results of their student experience survey for UK institutions.  This ranking uses the feedback given by full time undergraduate students.

In 1st place is Harper Adams, which interestingly also won the University of the Year title in 2016 at the What Uni Student Choice Awards, as well as the being the 2016 winner in both Job Prospects and Student support in the same year at the WUSCAs.

Loughborough University, the University of Sheffield, the University of Leeds and the University of Surrey make up the rest of the top 5 in the THE Student Experience Survey.  Surrey being the most popular choice of these 5 for our current IB 2 students.

Only 1 London based university makes it into the top 30 and that is the Royal Veterinary College.  Oxford comes in at number 7 whilst Cambridge is joint 29th.

Of the universities that have been particularly popular with our students this year:

  • UCL is placed 96th
  • King’s is placed 88th
  • Bath is placed 13th
  • Warwick is placed 46th
  • Imperial and Edinburgh are both  placed 58th
  • Manchester is  placed 29th
  • City is placed 116th
  • LSE is placed 119th
  • Exeter is placed 27th
  • Birmingham is placed 20th
