Engineering and Maths Taster Days for Year 12 (IB1) students at the University of Birmingham this summer

Mathematics Taster Day – Wednesday 28th June
The Mathematics Taster Day aims to give year 12 students an introduction to studying mathematics at university. As well as information on studying mathematics at Birmingham, the day will include two sample lectures, a tour of campus and an interactive mathematics session.

Engineering Taster Day – Tuesday 4th July
The Engineering Taster Day aims to give year 12 students an introduction to studying engineering at university. The day will consist of an introductory talk, a tour of campus, a subject fair and an interactive workshop.

The days will be held at the University of Birmingham’s Edgbaston campus beginning at 10am (registration from 9:30), and will finish around 3:30pm.

You can attend as an individual but must be studying Maths at Higher Level and be seriously considering studying maths or engineering for your degree.
